Sparring/Lesson # 14 of Module 2
On this lesson, You can start with one cycle of the first sparring drill/basic sparring/Lesson # 1 of Module 2 OR You can go straight to Lesson # 14.
The reason for having a one cycle of Lesson # 1 or Module 2( Basic Spar) is for both parties to be prepared or warmed up just before doing the next spar lesson.......
I am acting as both the Instructor/Feeder/Striker and also the Student/Receiver/Defender on this video.
As to the number of counts: The Instructor/Feeder/Striker function will have a total of 16 moves/counts and the Student/Receiver/Defender function will have a total of 17 moves/counts.
Execute all new sparring lessons very slowly at first, because in the beginning both sides are familiarizing their respective roles. In due time, you can start adding footwork and speed. You can have it 3 ways: 1. Add speed while in static mode( No Footwork) 2. Start adding footwork while slowly doing the spar 3. Add both speed and footwork while doing the spar
